People are always amazed how truly terrible I am at photoshop. They look at my work and assume I do the post. Believe it or not the comp above is better than most things I hand off to the retouchers.
You have to wonder about comments like the one darrell eager made. I'm currently a photography student graduating soon and am always intrigued by interesting images and everything about them. And one thing i have noticed is how little information is out there about HOW the final image comes together. VERY few photographers wanna talk about the NECESSITY of post-processing.
What are they trying to hide? That they will appear less like photographers and credit will be given to someone else for the final outcome? Or afraid others will learn and come after them for their business?
Anyway, explains why i keep coming back to Thomas Broening's blog. He's willing to share while others wanna seem cool and mysterious and just bask in the sunlight.
